Steps for Managing States
1. Add a New State
Select the Country:
- From the dropdown menu labeled “Country,” choose the appropriate country (e.g., India).
Enter the State Name:
- In the “State Name” field, type the name of the state you want to add.
- Both fields are mandatory, as indicated by the red asterisks (*).
Save the State:
- Click the “Save” button to store the new state in the database.
2. View Existing States
Click “View”:
- To see the list of states already saved, click the “View” button. This might display the list in a new window or table.
3. Delete a State
Select the State to Delete:
- Use the “View” option to find and select the state you want to remove.
Delete the State:
- Click the “Delete” button to remove the selected state from the database. To prevent accidental removal, deletion may prompt confirmation.
4. Clear the Input Fields
Click “Clear”:
- To reset the form to enter a new state, click the “Clear” button.
5. Close the Window
Click “Close”:
- To exit the State Master interface, click the “Close” button.
