Tax Master :

1. Define Tax Type
Step 1.1: Enter the tax type in the Tax Type field.
Example: GST, VAT, Service Tax, etc.
Step 1.2: Ensure the tax type is clearly named for easy identification.
2. Set the Tax Percentage
Step 2.1: Input the tax percentage in the Tax Percentage field.
Example: Enter 18 for an 18% GST rate.
Optional: Select the Group Tax checkbox if the tax is part of a group or multiple taxes that need to be applied together.
3. Configure Effective Date
Step 3.1: Set the effective date for the tax by selecting the A/C Date.
This ensures the tax will be applicable from the specified date onward.
4. Apply Tax to Products
Step 4.1: Check the Apply this Changes on Products box to apply the configured tax settings to associated products automatically.
This option ensures consistency in tax calculations across all relevant products.
5. Save or Modify Tax Settings
Step 5.1: Once all fields are completed, click Save to finalize the tax setup.
Additional Options:
- View: Use this to review existing tax configurations.
- Delete: Remove a tax type if it is no longer required.
- Clear: Reset all fields to enter new tax details.
- Close: Exit the Tax Master module.
